“Capturing emotion”, says Esther Naberman about what attracts her to photography.After her education at the Fotovakschool in Apeldoorn, she mainly focuses on portrait photography.Fine Art and newborn are her specialties.She increasingly portrays Genemuiden residents.“They call it the Rembrandt style,” Esther says, showing an example on her smartphone.The characteristic play between light and dark by the most famous Dutch painter can be seen on it.“With fine art, you take the light into account when shooting, but you take care of this effect during post-processing.The result 'remains' more than an ordinary photo.Beautiful on the wall.”De Genemuidense is also increasingly focusing on newborn, photographing new human life.“Very nice to capture babies in the very first phase.Then the emotion explodes.I usually shoot at people's homes.I like working on location more than in the studio anyway, although I certainly do that too.But in your own home or in a special place, photos become more spontaneous and relaxed.That appeals to me more," says Esther.Portraiture of people is also the beginning of her photography career.She once photographed an uncle and aunt's wedding.Husband Jan-Jaap immediately saw that his wife had found a new passion.“I once went to an open day at the Fotovakschool and was immediately sold.I walked around all day with a smile from ear to ear.Photography is wonderful: I can use my creativity in it and make something of value for people.”Because photos of Esther have to show people.She has less with other subjects.“I love nature, but photographing in it is not interesting for me.I also take pictures on vacations, but then I don't do anything with them.Capturing the emotion is what appeals to me.”That is why Esther also likes to do wedding photography.“Being part of one of the most beautiful days of someone's life all day long is a real privilege for me.I try to capture the love, joy and sometimes a tear with my camera.”With the increasing order portfolio, Esther hopes to be able to open her own studio in due course.“That is my ambition: a studio with many possibilities, so that you can also take spontaneous photos there.For example by using special attributes or materials.”In the coming period Esther has a number of actions:For more work, look at https://www.fotoartendesign.nl/
